Fire Alarm Detection System
ACE Security and Electrical Ltd have just completed the installation of a major fire detection system in a university in Central London. The system protects the main blocks. This is a new installation which has just been completed for Institute of Education covering 3 floors of offices for the university and 3 floors of student accommodation.
We have used the new Apollo fire alarm discovery range to help with reducing the possibility of unwanted activation such as within student flats of which some have cooking facilities and require more than just simple heat detection.The fire alarm system is spilt over 6 independent loops via 2 haes vector networked addressable fire panels with 187 detection and manual call point items and 80 fire alarm sounder devices.
We have also installed an intruder alarm system to cover the office area.
